Apple plans to release its fourth generation Mac Pro in 2022. 2022 Mac
Pro will be equipped with the most powerful apple chips so far and will provide versions with 32, 48 and 64 core configurations, respectively.
The 32 core version of Pro entry level will include 24 high-performance cores, 32 GPU cores, 64GB memory, starting at $5499; the mid-range 48 core models will include 36 high-performance cores, 64 GPU cores, 256gb of memory, starting at $11999; the highest-end 64 core models will include 48 high-performance cores, 128 GPU cores, 512gb of memory, starting at $18999. The currently available storage options range from 512gb to 8tb.
Previously, industry insiders have said that the MAC product line based on Intel chips will not die out soon. After all, it’s scalability and multi-channel graphics (AMD
GPU) support, the current platform still has a greater advantage.
According to the information of explosive, M2 processor will be based on 5nm process, and Apple will further improve the performance of multi-core (32 core, even 64 core), which should be enough to cope with more threads, based on 3nm process.
