Restera forum user rsti found that according to the latest documents submitted by Los Angeles Convention and Tourism Administration, the offline exhibition of E3 2021 game show has been cancelled.
Earlier this month, it was reported that the American Entertainment Software Association (ESA) plans to transform E3 2021 into an all digital exhibition. Judging from this latest document, E3 is basically confirmed
2021 will be transformed into a digital exhibition. The document explains that the Los Angeles City Council will work with the ESA production team to explore options for broadcasting programs at the Los Angeles Convention and Exhibition Center.
In a statement released earlier this month, ESA said it was trying to transform the “E3 experience” this year and would release details as soon as possible. Judging from this document and the situation in the United States this year, E3
2021 should mainly rely on live, pre recorded clips and remote video interviews.
Last year’s E3 was closed for a year due to COVID-19’s reasons. Many other exhibitions also cancelled offline activities for the same reason.
