"The undertaker", directed by Yojiro takida and starred by yahiro benki, Ryoko hiromoto and Nuo Yamazaki, has been confirmed to be introduced into the mainland of China. The schedule is yet to be determined. Meanwhile, the domestic posters and 4K restored stills will be released. Released in Japan in 2008, the film won 10 awards from the Japan film academy and the best foreign language film award at the Academy Awards. According to the film's sources, the release in the mainland will be the 4K restored version of the undertaker.
“The undertaker” is adapted from Japanese writer Aoki shinmen’s novel “Diaries of nagaofu”. The film tells the life of Japanese undertaker. From the perspective of a novice undertaker, the film observes all kinds of deaths and stares at the loving people around the deceased.
