Tencent game: 17.84 million minor accounts are forced offline every day

Tencent game recently introduced several latest data on anti addiction measures. More than 80% of users who bind the platform have decreased the game duration, 90.5 of the accounts rejected or failed to be verified are included in the anti addiction supervision during the login phase. 17.84 million minor accounts are kicked off the line due to the “exceeding the length of login” every day

As of February 24, face recognition verification for suspected minors has been applied to more than 100 mobile game products under Tencent. In recent months, an average of 7.24 million accounts are in the login phase every day, and 60000 accounts trigger face recognition verification in the payment phase. Among them, due to rejection or failure to verify, about 90.5 accounts in the login stage are included in the anti addiction supervision, and payment link 80.0 has been blocked from recharge behavior.
