51 announced that the official version of the horror survival game “Chernobyl man” will be released in the first quarter of this year. However, it was officially announced today (January 27) that the game will be sold in the second quarter. The developer said the official version of Chernobyl will support Chinese, Italian, Japanese and Portuguese, and will add a lot of new content.
Officials said that because of the global epidemic, now they have to announce that the official version of “Chernobyl man” will be postponed to the second quarter of 2021.
The good news is that Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Portuguese will be added to the story and interface of the official version of the game. All language versions are completely rewritten and retouched. About dubbing (English and Russian), they invited professional dubbing staff to record from the beginning in the professional studio.
Thanks to this, the official version of the game will be more exciting and immersive than the first experience version. Unfortunately, due to the large scale of the game, which has more plot and text dialogue than any of their previous works, the translation process of adding new languages is very time-consuming, and the development team will not be able to complete it successfully in the first quarter of 2021.
The official promised to add more elements and new content to the official version, which was originally intended to be released as DLC. This means that the official version of “Chernobyl man” will be bigger and richer for players. Players will find new locations, new weapons, new enemies, interaction with other game characters, as well as a large number of existing mechanisms and tools to repair.
All players who have bought the preemptive experience version can get the new content for free, and the host version of “Chernobyl” is also under development, which should be completed in the next few months.
