The New Dragon century will be a single player game

EA has allowed developers in BioWare to remove all previously planned multiplayer game components from Longteng century's new work, according to a report by Bloomberg.

Quoting “people familiar with the matter”, the report pointed out that the previous design of the game was with heavy multiplayer elements, but in recent months it has become a pure single player game, which actually refers to the success of “Star Wars Jedi: the fallen order of the Samurai” – a pure single player game with more than 10 million players in the first four months of release, as well as “Holy Grail” Song’s failure – the promised rework and redevelopment of this multiplayer game has recently been completely eliminated.

The New Dragon century will be a single player game

The new Longteng century was developed in 2015, but in the autumn of 2017, the project was restarted in order to promote long-term profitability, resulting in the resignation of creative director Mike Laidlaw, who later founded yellow brick games. The game was officially released in 2018. According to reports, during the development process, some members of the BioWare leadership team tried to turn the next Dragon century into a single player game, which seems to have been successful.

The release date of the New Dragon century has not yet been announced.
